A few of the Mean Valley Roller Girls will be on BBC Radio Leicester at 8.40am tomorrow morning to talk about roller derby and our upcoming bout, ‘Bout To The Future’! Please tune in! (Or at least listen later on BBC iPlayer. ;))
We have some awesome skaters from all over the country playing at ‘Bout To The Future’ on Saturday 4th Feb, including some of the girls from Team England and Team Ireland!
We are based in quite a small place, but we’re in between lots of cities (Leicester, Peterborough, Nottingham…) so I hope everyone can come over and watch!
Fancy dress, an 80s gameshow quiz and an air guitar competition are some of the highlights, with the main event, of course, being the bouts between Team Ghostbusters, Team Gremlins and Team Goonies!
